My anime watch list for Spring 2011.
Green boxes are top priority; yellow are low priority. Others, most probably I won’t check out. (But this is not final, yet.)
The next post has the details why I’m watching these titles, etc.

Here I go again on my seasonly rambling. Because watching anime is serious business.
Sadly, Chartfag seems to have retired so I’m using The Cart Driver’s chart for reference now.
From the looks of it, there’s nothing I’m really anticipating for the next season, but maybe I can pick up some gems. So there are NO Top Priority like before. Will edit this until I find more trailers and info.

High Priority (will watch, I think most are tolerable to be watched in its entirety)
Trailer link
NoitaminA, so at least it promises to be decent. But A-1 and Ordet have failed me several times before..
Honestly speaking, I don’t see how this will be exceptional. But there’s a lot of people raving about the manga, so I’ll see what the fuss is all about. And yeah, noitanimA.
It’s Yoshihiro Togashi, creator of shounen titles such as Hunter x Hunter and Yu Yu Hakusho, so I’m going to see this. But Studio Pierrot? They used to be a good studio, but..
Looks trippy. Might be a good OVA perhaps.

Mid Priority (will look at first episodes and decide if I will continue to watch it or not; highly likely to be dropped if it is full of BS)
The trailer posted here is something from over a year ago, and I was duped by the first Iron Man anime trailer, in which Madhouse is also involved. However, I’m giving this a chance since Wolverine is an awesome character.
MADHOUSE? More like WESTERN-ADAPTATIONHOUSE, amirite?
Looks good, but it also looks like something BONES will fuck up. Why am I so being pessimistic nowadays? Also, Shinku in Suigintou’s clothes.

Low Priority (most probably won’t watch but somehow sparked an interest on me. I won’t post trailers; I’m kinda tired.)
Ecchi! Boobs! Tits! I hope this isn’t as horrible as that god-awful Hyakka Ryouran Samurai Girls.
Yes, because harem shit + mecha is a brilliant idea.
Sure, I love GAINAX. But come on now. K-ON on cars?

Already reading the manga, so I might not follow the anime:
Beelzebub
Mirai Nikki
Kimi ni Todoke

Well, everything is bound to change, and first impressions don’t always last. I might pick up something else. So we’ll see.Recommended yuri manga for yuri lovers. Personally, I haven’t read almost any of these except Maka-Maka, which is very good. Best H-manga ever. I love the drama.
Winter 2010-2011 Anime (updated)
Seems like waiting for Chartfag’s charts won’t bear any fruit now since he mentioned in his blog that he might not be doing this for a mean time. So we all now go to The Cart Driver for our seasonal anime charts.
Please spare me the fact that I deliberately disregarded the trailers and info of shows that I have no interest with. My pretentiousness kicks in and somehow prevents me from giving out info on everything in here. If you are curious about them, I believe you may able to do your own research with a simple Google function.
I consider revising this when the version with OVAs comes out. Well, there are charts floating around with OVAs and specials, but I’ll stick with Chartfag’s version because he’s a bro.

Top Priority (definitely watching, from start to finish without dropping it unless it gets terribly, terribly horrendous)
What can I say? This is seriously intriguing. Western art, over-the-top craziness courtesy of director Imaishi, same guy who did TTGL, FLCL, and Dead Leaves. Whether it will turn out good or bad doesn’t matter; I’ll watch it. Actually, It is already very controversial with the pre-airing discussions I’m seeing in different sites.
Because NoitaminA shows are originally directed to women, I have always different impressions on the series that air on those slots. But most of them turn out to be good and some simply amazing. And Kuragehime is by Brain Base; I’m assuming it is decent at least.
Well, I enjoyed the first season. I guess that is enough to say I’m following the sequel. More craziness and more Nino-san won’t hurt.

High Priority (will watch, I think most are tolerable to be watched in its entirety)
Seriously, from the trailer alone, this looks like it is centered on a plot filled with so much pandering. Mecha porn, character design that meant to appeal, and maybe fanservice for both sexes. I am hoping at least a Code Geass R2 level of trainwreck to make this worthwhile. Don’t fail me BONES.
I’m reading the manga since it started and it is one of my favorites among the currently-running Jump titles. I may postpone watching this if it turns out to be a bad adaptation, or offers nothing more than the original.

I believe this one is already airing. I don’t see anything special though, but I may look at it when I have time. I see tits, by the way.
Trailer link 2010 ‘shit’ trailer
The trailer that was released a year ago was just mesmerizing. But then, they recently released another trailer that is filled with horrible CG, and awful fight choreography. I initially anticipated this somehow, but now I have mixed feelings with it. Why Madhouse, why?
Hax-eyes are so overrated. Can we have hax ears instead? Also, looks like fangirl bait.
Obviously catered to BL fans. I already have doubts if most of these anime have good plot. I remember how I manage to watch 5 episodes of the abomination called Hakuouki. Ugh.

Low Priority (most probably won’t watch but somehow sparked an interest on me. I won’t post trailers; I’m kinda tired.)
Kiddy stuff, but the trailer seems to promise a heartwarming story. But I doubt subs will be abundant for this one.
4chan’s /a/ loves this so much. I have read some chapters of the manga, but I am not impressed.
And another one getting insanely huge amount of fanbase. When I get myself to watch Index S1 and railgun, I’ll get into this. But I don’t know..
Same with Index; will watch if I can get myself to watch the previous season.
Looks meh, but who knows. Their uniforms look stupid.
Everything else I won’t bother to pick up.
This season (summer 2010) is kinda awful; with only a few tolerable series that started cool and ends up as mediocre to rubbish. Next season looks a bit better, imo. But from the looks of it, I guess I still have a lot of room to watch older shows, which is favorable for me.
FFFFFUUUU—— FINALLYYYYY. /off to desecrate charts agin 8D kekeke
Chartfag lives! That lazy tard. Anyway, will wait for the version with OVA’s and stuff. And I’ve already decided before what will I watch this fall.
Screw Fall 2010. Spring 2011 here.
BEST. SEASON. EVER.
